IT Security Engineer - Senior
This is a contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert. This is a fully remote role, with occasional on-site support in the MA area preferred.

About this position

We’re hiring a Senior IT Security Engineer to support our Loss Prevention IT team, with a focus on physical security systems. You will lead technical design and implementation of access control and CCTV solutions across a global enterprise environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and deploy access control and CCTV systems, including software and hardware
• Manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud)
• Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures
• Ensure system integration with security platforms (e.g., Genetec)
• Provide ongoing technical support and documentation

Skills/Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security systems installation and programming
• Proficient with Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DMP, Bosch systems
• Genetec certifications required
• Familiar with TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and network security
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies

Additional Information

• Contract role with conversion potential
• Fully remote with occasional MA-based site visits

Pay Range

Pay Range: $65-$75/hour
