Our focus is on tackling social issues through long-term paths such as policy, entrepreneurship, and social investment rather than humanitarian approaches.
We are currently supporting the development and implementation of policies to enable the social sector in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa, in fields such as social finance, social policies, education, healthcare, urban development, green infrastructure, climate finance, and sustainability.
Job Description
We are hiring an full time senior consultant to complement our team and support our on-going projects. This is a Middle East based position and will involve travelling to support project implementation on-site in the MENA region, and sometimes in other regions.
Successful candidates will work on a variety of policy and social issues, including operationalization such as strategy development, knowledge transfer, stakeholder engagement, etc, working directly with key stakeholders and policy makers, and contribute to developing the social sector in countries such as Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, and Saudi Arabia.
Your mission:
- You will be the right arm of the projects directors and partners to ensure successful project acquisition and delivery
- You will lead consulting projects, managing the client relationship, delivery team, and other key project stakeholders such as subject-matter experts
- You will develop, train, and mentor associate consultants to acquire fundamental consulting skills while working together on live projects
- You will support our on-going projects which involves:
- Structuring workstreams to distribute tasks to the consulting team
- Structuring and contributing to brainstorming and creative discussions internally as well as with our clients to address policy and social challenges
- Developing analytical frameworks and methodologies to address policy, social, organizational, and implementation challenges as part of the project scope
- Structuring and conducting research through secondary research as well as interviews and primary field-work research
- Engaging with social sector stakeholders through interviews, focus group discussions, and workshops
- Analysing, structuring, and summarizing research findings and insights
- Representing visually insights, concepts, and approaches with effective and compelling design
- Presenting insights, concepts, and approaches to our team and our clients
- You will contribute to Dunecrest’s development effort in thought leadership and business development by working on publications and proposals which involves leading your team to:
- Supporting Dunecrest’s partners to develop their practice areas (Islamic Social Finance; Spatial Intelligence; Healthcare Innovation; Climate and Green Infrastructure; People & Teams)
- Developing analytical frameworks and methodologies to address project tender requirements
- Analysing, structuring, and summarizing secondary research findings, data, and insights
- Representing visually data, analysis, insights, concepts, and approaches with effective and compelling design

Job Qualifications
Your profile and background:
- You have graduated with a Degree in Public Policy, Business, Finance, Management, Urban Planning, Innovation, Social Development, or related discipline
- You have prior experience in management consulting either in an international company (minimum 3 years) or in a local/boutique company (minimum 5 years). Candidates without consulting experience will not be considered
- You are based in the Middle East. Due to frequent regional travels in the MENA region candidates based outside the Middle East will not be considered
- You speak fluent English and Arabic. Due to the nature of our work, non-bilingual candidates will not be considered
- You have a good mastery of AI tools to perform analysis and research
- You are able to lead projects and manage clients to ensure the delivery of high quality outcomes
- You are able to lead junior colleagues and project stakeholders to ensure high quality project
- You are able to understand, simplify, and represent visually complex concepts with compelling design. Ability to produce good MS PowerPoint visuals and graphics would be an added advantage
- You have a good mastery of MS Excel to structure and analyse data, and design charts
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and challenging environment where you will adapt to changes in project direction and requirements
- You possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, leadership potential, and an uncompromising work ethic
- You are comfortable working remotely with team members in different countries and time zones and travelling as and when required
