Program Manager

This is an on-site opportunity in Union City/Oakland, CA.

About this Position

Are you a strong leader with a passion for arts education? As a Program Manager, you will provide guidance to instructors, maintain relationships with school administrators, and ensure the success of arts programs across multiple schools. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students and instructors while developing leadership and program management skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to Jr. Arts instructors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with school administrators.
  • Serve as a temporary classroom substitute when needed.
  • Conduct classroom visits to observe instructors and student progress.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and classroom teachers.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins with instructors to provide support.
  • Submit weekly reports on classroom observations, teacher feedback, and student progress.
  • Support the Assistant Director with meetings, note-taking, and data entry.
  • Assist with planning the end-of-program student art showcase.
